What are the requirements to stay active as a Chalk Couture Independent Designer?

You need just $100 in personal volume each quarter. This can be from personal orders, or customers, and follows the standard quarterly calendar (Jan-Mar, Apr-Jun, Jul-Sept, Oct-Dec). It's easy to stay active in your Chalk Couture business.

Do I get a personal discount?

YES! You get 40% off all your purchases! This is a generous discount that is automatically deducted when placing orders in your Designer Office, and allows you to make an instant commission when you sell directly to customers this way. No need to wait for a paycheck! Plus, when you join, you get an exclusive 15% off coupon that you can use on one entire order in your first 60 days. That's a 55% savings when combined with your Designer discount!

How much money can I make as a Chalk Couture Independent Designer?

Chalk Couture has one of the most generous compensation plans where you can earn commissions and bonuses. CLICK HERE the entire compensation plan, or CLICK HERE to see a summary chart. I've summarized some of the key points in the Chalk Couture compensation plan below:

• Any personal order placed through your Designer Office is discounted at 40%. So, when you resell these items to your customers directly at retail price, you get an "instant commission" of 40%.
• Any orders through your Chalk Couture web site will earn you 25% commission paid on the 15th of the following month. For orders placed on your Chalk Couture web site, the company will take care of processing and shipping the order directly to your customer.
• For every 200 PV you sell each month, you will receive $20 in Designer Dollars (product credit) to spend as you wish.
• When you have 2000+ PV in a month, you receive a 10% Savvy Seller cash bonus on your PV (that's an extra $200!). When you have 4000+ PV in a month, you receive a 20% Savvy Seller cash bonus on your PV (that's an extra $800!). Savvy Seller bonuses are paid on the 15th of the following month.
• As you grow a team and advance through the levels of leadership, you will receive override commissions up to 11% on the personal volume of your team.
• There are additional cash bonuses as you promote to leadership beginning with a $500 cash bonus when you promote to the level of Master Mentor.

What kind of training and support will I receive when I join your Chalk Couture team?

In addition, when you join my team, you will be part of a powerhouse upline team which includes the #1 income earner. What is Designer Debut?

Designer Debut is an amazing bonus program available to you in your first three months as a Chalk Couture Independent Designer. This program rewards you with Designer Dollars (product credit) when you reach various personal volume levels.

Each phase of our Designer Début program rewards you for selling 400PV per month in each of your first full three months. The rewards earned in Designer Début are in addition to the monthly Designer Dollars that you can earn as part of our compensation plan (every 200 PV each month = 20 Designer Dollars). You can use these Designer Dollars for your personal wish list, hostess rewards, team incentives, or gifts.

You can earn more Designer Dollars when you sponsor new Designers during your Designer Début window—when they begin selling, you'll be rewarded! Sponsor a new Team member during your first full three months, and when they remit a minimum of 100PV total by the end of their first full month, YOU will receive 30 Designer Dollars! There is no limit to the additional rewards available through sponsoring (if you sponsor three Designers who all sell 100PV in their Phase 1, you'll earn 90 additional DD!), so don't be shy. Are there other incentives?

Yes! There is a Chalk Couture incentive trip program that you can earn, plus additional incentives throughout the year. There are also fun contests with our team where you can win some prizes!

What does the $19.99 monthly fee cover?

Each month you will receive the monthly Club Couture Chalk Transfer sent automatically to you at the beginning of each month. This is a great way to highlight what your Club Couture members will receive and build your own personal collection. Also included in this fee is your Chalk Couture web site. This is a personalized site available to you, and enables you to take online orders, and sign up teammates! Lastly, there is a Couture Connect App available for both Android and Apple users to help you run your business.

I don't want to sell. Can I still join?

Absolutely! We love hobbyists, and joining is a great way to get a fabulous kit plus nice ongoing discount for your personal projects. Just keep in mind the $19.99 monthly fee (where you will receive the monthly Club Couture Chalk Transfer too!) and the 100 PV quarterly requirement to stay an active Chalk Couture Independent Designer.

Do I have to carry an inventory?

No, you are not required to carry any inventory. However, if you plan on doing expos or vendor events, I would suggest purchasing some items using your 40% Designer discount, and then resell these items at retail price during your event.

Can I sell items that I make with Chalk Couture?

Yes! In fact, some people choose to run their entire business this way. You can use the Chalk Couture Transfers, Chalkology Pastes, Surfaces and more to create beautiful art pieces and home decor. The only limit is your imagination. Just be sure to mention they are Chalk Couture designs.

How do I sign up?

You will fill out your personal information, choose your Chalk Couture web site name (I suggest your first and last name), and enter your payment.
